Techiewisp and Google Tag Manager
With Techiewisp, you don't need to write code or navigate the complexity of Google Tag Manager.
Instead, you define the metrics you wish to track using natural language in a conversation with Techiewisp. This is what we call Configuration through conversation.
Techiewisp will then implement your metrics using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
What is Google Tag Manager?
Google Tag Manager is a powerful tool that lets you manage your website's tracking without needing to repeatedly deploy new code. It works by allowing you to define your tracking goals in a high-level way rather than writing code directly into your site's codebase.
Techiewisp enhances this by handling the declarations for you, allowing you to configure your tracking needs using natural language. This saves you time and reduces your reliance on costly external consultants or internal development teams.
You Retain Full Ownership
You fully own the Analytics and Tag Manager setup. Techiewisp uses OAuth to configure Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which means you own all resources created. Once created, the setup has no dependencies on our service.
Should you wish, you can always access and manage your setup directly in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
If you decide to cancel your Techiewisp subscription, all your Google Analytics and Tag Manager resources will remain in place, ensuring the longevity and security of your data.
Supported Elements
Currently, we support the following Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager elements:
- All Built-in variables (e.g., Page Path, DOM Element, Referrer, Click Text, etc.).
- The Google Analytics GA4 Event tag.
- Triggers: Click (All), Form Submission, Page View, Scroll Depth, and Timers.
We do not currently support Custom Dimensions, Custom Variables, or Tag Parameters, but we are working on expanding our support to include these. We expect them to be available in early 2026.
